Coverage Estimates: Coverage approx.  2.75 – 3 sq. ft. / per kg with 3 mm thickness. Pack size Coverage 20 kg approx. 55-60 sq. ft. and with Pack size 30 kg approx. 80-90 sq. ft. using a 6 mm × 6 mm square notch trowel. Note: Coverage will depend on the nature and flatness of the surface and the method of application. For good coverage, it is must that all surfaces are smooth, plumb, level and free from defects and undulations.

Application Areas: Interior Floor, Interiors, Walls (Up to 6 ft.), Tile on Tile applications after acid wash or chipping or chipping of base tiles.

Tile Size: Interior Floor application – Up to 4 ft. by 2 ft. Interior wall application – Up to 2 ft. by 2 ft.

Type of Tile: Ceramic (floor + wall), Vitrified tiles (Floor + wall up to 2 ft. by 2 ft.), Clay tiles, Stone, Mosaic, Large Tiles for interior applications, Tiles with porosity less than 3% for interior applications.

Bed Thickness: Up to 12 mm bed thickness.

Substrate: Cementitious, plastered walls, Concrete, Cement – lime mortars, Screed.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

• The substrate must be level, cured, undamaged, compact, rigid, resistant, dry and free from any deboning agents and from damp rising.
• All surfaces must be plumb and true to within 6 mm in 10 ft. (3m).
• Dry, dusty surfaces should be dampened with water & excess water should be swept off.

MIXING

• Add 3 – 3.5 parts of powder to 1 part of water or 5 – 6 liter water for 20 Kg powder in a clean mixing vessel.
• Adjust the water as per desired consistency.
• Mix with a suitable mechanical stirrer or slow speed drills (50 – 100 rpm) until a lump free homogeneous paste is obtained.
• Leave mixture for 5 minutes before use.

APPLICATION

• Apply adhesive to the substrate with the flat side of the trowel.
• Comb on additional adhesive with the notched side.
• Use the proper sized notched trowel to ensure full bedding of the tile.
• Tiles must be fixed within 15-20 minutes of adhesive being applied, depending on the porosity of the surface and atmospheric conditions.
• Leave no voids behind tiles.
• For large size tiles or irregular surfaces, adhesive can additionally be buttered on the backs of the tiles to ensure full adhesive contact.
• Use suitable support along with adhesive for fixing tiles on vertical surfaces.
• Clean off surplus adhesive from the tile face and between joints.
